I know, it ended, like ages ago. I am not good in being consistent. Anyway, Agnieszka ended up winning that match with Melanie Oudin 64 75 and facing none other that one of the sisters, this time Venus. Her match score 61 62 would suggest easy win for Venus, but it was actually much closer. Anyway, Aga seems just not finding the answers for the Williams clan, no matter what she tries. After that match papa Radwanski lost his cool (if he ever has) saying things he probably thought throughout the tournament, about Aga not acting professionally on the court, without fighting spirit, and the like. Well, we all knew that, so I am not surprised he finally sounded out. But following was this big national debate in the media, "Should papa Radwanski let someone else train his daughters..." I personally thing things are doing just fine, but the girls should be told more than once, that certain things are really not helping. Like directing your anger on the court at referee, acting drama, showing your weaknesses, frustration, being upset with lost point, simple mistake.... That's just my opinion, the question is, are they going to listen to their father (actually, Ula is even more guilty of loosing her matches by acting like a spoiled brat) Grow up, girls, you have so much more in you! But that's just so easy to say! Hell, I know!
So, that was end of Wimbledon for sisters, and the rest of our players didn't add much more to the scoreline. Well, Lukasz with Marach lost in quarterfinals, pretty good showing for them.
Marcin Matkowski lost in the third round of mixed doubles. And Magda Linette lost in the first round in singles and second round in doubles.
Sabine Lisicki won match with Karolina Wozniacki, and then couldn't handle Dinara Safina, she lost in QF hard fought three setter, 76 64 61. Sabine also lost her second round match in doubles, she was playing with Ola Wozniak against Williams sisters. In juniors, Olivia Rogowska was eliminated in her first round match.
